Every pergola we build is custom. These are the main choices we work through with you.
A solid or clear roof collects a surprising amount of rain, and without guttering it simply pours off one edge onto the patio or lawn. We fit guttering along the low side of the roof to carry the water away, and set the roof at a slight fall so it runs off cleanly rather than pooling on the sheets.
