Around 20m² of grey porcelain
Grey 60x90 porcelain was supplied and laid across around 20m² behind the house.
Case study · Tooting SW17 · September 2025
Oana's back garden in Tooting got a new porcelain patio and a path to the garage. We supplied and laid around 20m² of grey 60x90 porcelain, built a new wall and clad it in the same paving, fitted a new manhole cover and laid the patio so water drains away towards the garden. A small footpath now runs down to the garage. Four days, £5,000 including VAT, all in.
Where we started
Oana wanted a clean, modern patio behind the house in Tooting, with a proper path down to the garage.
The patio needed to shed water away from the house towards the garden, and the existing manhole needed a new cover that sits neatly in the paving. It is typical of the smaller patios in Tooting we lay.
The tricky parts
Step by step
Around 20m² of grey 60x90 porcelain was laid, falling towards the garden.
A new wall was built and clad in the same porcelain, and a new manhole cover fitted.
A small footpath was laid down to the garage.
“The new paving and footpath made the garden feel tidy and easy to use.”
Budget
This project cost £5,000 including VAT, all in: around 20m² of grey 60x90 porcelain supplied and laid, a new wall clad in the same paving, a new manhole cover and a small footpath to the garage, in four days. That is roughly £250 per m² including the wall, manhole cover and path. See our patios in Tooting page for more.
