Sandstone and gravel garden footpath in Bexleyheath

Joanna's garden in Bexleyheath got a full new footpath around the lawn. We laid buff Indian sandstone stepping stones on a type 1 base with Cotswold cream gravel in between, plastic edging on both sides, and random stepping stones further down the garden. Three days, £3,000 including VAT, all in. Joanna came back to us the following year for a new patio.

Where we started

The brief

Joanna wanted a proper footpath around the garden in Bexleyheath, with stepping stones further down.

Sandstone stepping stones set in gravel make a path that follows the curve of the lawn. It is a good example of the garden paths in Bexley we lay. Joanna later asked us back for a buff porcelain patio.
