Clearing everything
The old fence, trees, shrubs, soil and paving were all removed, dug out and cleared.
Case study · Clapham SW4 · July 2023
William's front and back gardens in Clapham had a full transformation. At the back, everything was cleared and dug out, then we laid grey Indian sandstone on a lower and an upper level, with a sleeper retaining wall, 2 steps, sleeper planters, eco drains and a new manhole cover. At the front, we laid a Victorian tile footpath and black Brazilian slate. It took 2 weeks and cost £22,000 including VAT, supplied and fitted, with all the waste removed.
Where we started
William wanted a full transformation of the front and back gardens.
At the back, the old fence, trees, shrubs, soil and paving all had to go before a new two-level sandstone garden with sleepers went in. At the front, a Victorian tile footpath and black Brazilian slate. See our patios in Clapham and garden steps in Clapham.

The upper level was paved, 2 steps were installed and the sleeper planters were filled with soil.
The finished paving was washed down and all the waste removed.
