A digger for the groundwork
A digger was used to prepare the ground.
Case study · New Malden KT3 · August 2024
Matt's garden in New Malden got a new granite patio outside the sliding doors. We used a digger to prepare the ground, put in a type 1 base, laid the granite paving and installed an eco drain connected to the gully. Everything was supplied and fitted, with waste removal included, for £6,250 including VAT.
Where we started
Matt wanted a new paved area outside the sliding doors in New Malden, in granite.
Granite is a hard natural stone, and the eco drain deals with water by the house. It is a good example of the patios in New Malden we lay.
The tricky parts
Step by step
A digger prepared the ground, then the type 1 base went in and was compacted.
The granite paving was laid across the base.
An eco drain was installed and connected to the gully, and all waste was removed.
Budget
This patio cost £6,250 including VAT, all in: digger work, a type 1 base, granite paving supplied and fitted, an eco drain connected to the gully and all waste removed. See our patios in New Malden page for more.
